Green Barn Soaps is a small Maine based company, situated in the countryside, about 30 minutes north of Portland. As a cruelty free company, our soaps are all vegetarian friendly, and many are vegan friendly.  As a small down to earth company, we strive to help give a little bit of luxury in your every day. No matter what walk of life you come from we’ll fit in easily. Though it takes more time, we produce our products in small batches in order to provide you with artisan quality. We want you to feel the time and effort put into each bar, every time you lather up.

Message from the owner:

As a business professional and avid enthusiast of homesteading, cooking and sustainable agriculture, I decided to start Green Barn Soaps Co., at the age of 25 to help give people an alternative to their everyday preservative laden soaps. Not all bars of soap are made equal. There is a lot of love and care put into every recipe, as well as every other aspect, of Green Barn Soaps Co. I make sure all of the batches are made in smaller quantities to give you exactly what you deserve – a high quality, simple ingredient soap to allow yourself and your skin to breathe. Every now and again I’ll throw up a fun limited time product, whether it’s laundry detergent made with our own hand-milled soaps or solid lotion bars. I truly enjoy and take great pride in what I do.  Take a deep breath, let it out, and enjoy a bar of GBS knowing you’re in good hands.
